Excellent report and here's wishing you well on your trip! I've heard about the mosquitoes in Alaska from my mother and sister (sister lives in Fairbanks) and mother visited my sister there and said she would never go back as she thought she was going to become a live meal for the mosquitoes. My sister confirmed that!
