Last year, when we were on a ride, we stopped at a little bike shop. They had some leathers on sale (50% off!). I couldn't pass up a jacket because I liked the way it looked and it was such a good price. I was hoping it would fit my son. They only had XL, so I should have known it wouldn't. It didn't. And it doesn't fit any of us, either.
I like this jacket because the leather (except for the top of the arms, the neck, and the lower back) is perforated. It also has a light, perforated lining (and a zip-out Thinsulate liner). I think it would be a LOT cooler in warm-weather riding than a regular leather jacket. It doesn't have armor, but it doesn't extra layers of leather on the elbows that provide pretty good protection. It has zippers on the bottom of the sleeves and other vents.
Like I said, this is an XL. It's a $200 jacket; I paid $99 + tax for it. I'd be willing to sell it for $90. It's never been worn; still has the tags on it. I'm attaching some pictures of it. Sorry if the quality isn't too hot.
