Klr 250

Whats a good battery for a 1988 KLR 250? my bike dosnt have one and need it to get the bike on the road. cheers for any input

i tried my battery out of my 09 yamaha jog (scooter 12v) and all the electrics work fine but when i go to take off the bike looses power and shuts off. without the battery it works fine. i can rev it at 4k rpm and it still looses power like the bike is being switched off... i need this fixed as i want to get it on the road this week.
