By somewhat popular demand, we now have a forum dedicated to the life and times of the adventure biker and the Kawasaki KLR's and other brands. Lets fill this place with great chat and dialog of the back country ride.

Mr. and Mrs. Bross will be very happy. Hopefully Bad Company will post, too.

I bought a DR350 for the backroads of eastern Oregon where most of the secondary roads are gravel. Once I could justify the dual purpose bike my wife said upgrade to a DR650 so I got a nice 2006. I am really looking forward to using it this summer. PS, I went to sell the 350, nice riding little 92', sold it for 1700.00 only to hear from the new owner that it is leaking oil like a sieve so I went over and returned his money. It had never leaked a spot for the last 2 1/2 years. I hope it is just a O ring or gasket on the clutch cover area.

hopefully its something simple, and with the metric track record, it should be

i had a 93 i think, kick start only. bought it for $1500 about 5 years ago. had it for a couple months and it was stolen out of my backyard

Thanks SPOK, nice to see my suggestion for the KLR section started! In due time it will pick up once the word gets out. I will spread the word around to those i know. Probably be some stromers and DR riders show up as well.
