Just what it says. Lets see those bikes out in their element.

Let's see what you've got!

EEP!

Heh, I'm scared to get the Versys in the mud, but I've been down a dirt road. I'll get some pictures

(EDIT: although honestly, with good tires, I'm sure the Versys can handle some of the rougher stuff)

if i was rebuilding the 250 for the road, i would change out to a more street friendly tire, but due to age, it's hard to find all the parts to make it street legal.

i guess i'll just have to settle with throwing it in the truck and finding some old logging roads up north.

You could always keep that KLX for dirt roads and get a 2007 or 2008 KLX for the blasts around town - or an older KLR Jr. THOSE are fun bikes

Not a Kawi, but probably the oldest "dual sport" in this thread so far? 1972 Honda Cl-450 Scrambler.

Well here is the oldest Kawasaki enduro 1975 F-11 250cc two stroke, just hit 3,500mi. I ride it to work daily, weather permitting, and take it out on the trails when I get time, sometimes on the way home from work. These pics are from when I got it. I put a paint job on it and rebuilt it and installed a Strader race pipe recently. I will post some new pics soon.

Since no one would help me start a Revolution against the corporate gas giants to try and bring gas prices back to an affordable price, I searched and found a mint condition Suzuki 1996 DR 350 for sale with 4895 miles on it and bought it. It appears as a commuter bike it can get around 70mpg so I'll park the truck and the V2K and ride this now. I really hate sinking money into gasoline at the unreal rates it's selling for now so this will be my new best friend as I pass by the pumps watching the huge SUV's paying a premium price for gallons of gas.

I've taken it out for a couple of rides and while it's no big cruiser bike...it's fun to ride. Since my body won't tolerate off-road riding anymore it'll continue to be babied as an on-road commuter and sharing space with the King Kahuna.

Anyway...here are some pics of the lil brute.
