I know it is difficult... I wonder if Beartooth would be prepared to sell & ship Kawa parts & accesories only available in the US. I would love the WW tyres for my V2K. Any chance ?

I'm another happy customer, with all my little needs when I restored my salvaged 1600 Classic back in winter of 2005, they worked with me patiently on every little OEM part, bolt and nut I needed to finish it. And last year I bought my new WW rear tire and had it mounted by the guys in the shop. Jim and Laurie and their daughters, Jake, John and Larry in the shop if I forgot someone........come to the BTK gathering after the 4th of July weekend to experience it yourself in 2008.

Great idea!
It's good to be a ble to see the faces on the other side of the phone.
From my personal experiance, I can honestly say that dealing with the fine folks from Beartooth Kawy has been a positive experiance.
I've purchased a few accessories over the past couple years, and have had nothing but prompt professional service.

Cheers guys and gals!

PS. And besides, show me one other motorcycle dealership that brings a beer-trailer to the party?

Aw, you're sweet! Thanks! I miss everyone too. We've bought stuff for BTK too, and have never had a single problem. The people at the shop are always terrific.

I'll hop on the wagon here too. I've had nothing but good service and friendly conversation with Jake and John. They rock, Jim... you have great help there, that's for sure.

It's a great place. Here's a few links:

Stay here, definatly stay here - Hotel Accomodations and Vacation Rentals in Red Lodge, MT
Eat here - Carbon County Steakhouse - Red Lodge, Montana
or here - Foster and Logan's in Red Lodge, Montana
Ride here - Beartooth Highway
Chamber of Commerce - Red Lodge Area Chamber of Commerce - Red Lodge Montana
Or - Red Lodge, Montana Gateway to Yellowstone National Park via the Scenic Beartooth Highway

And make sure to visit Jim and Lauri and the gang at Beartooth Kawy.

Cheers,

PS. If you haven't already, make sure you ride The Going To The Sun Road in Glacier Park on your way down.

What in the world are you talkin' about? The weather is great here! You know what they say about Cleveland weather...... wait 10 minutes and it'll change!
I was washing the cars in 45 degree temps on Saturday. By Sunday evening it was 5 with a -45 wind chill. 6-8" on the ground, with an ice storm on the way home last night. Gotta' love it! By the way, is my seat there yet???

Default footpeg modification

I recently installed hard saddlebags for my 2005 Vulcan. The footpegs are now not far enough forward for passenger comfort. Is there any way to move them a couple of inches forward?

Hello Beartooth Jake..
I have a question concerning the Air cleaner cover
on my 08 VN900 LT, Why is it completely enclosed..
why isn't there at least a few vents or openings
alongside front(forward edge) of Air cleaner cover?
Wouldn't this help to keep cool air flowing into
the venturi's, instead of hot air?
or is there a reason for this... I don't know..
Can you let me know??
Thanks, MrLee
PS.. here's a photo of it:
