Did you send Jake a PM? He's usually pretty good at answering PM's.

Hello MrLee,

The reason for not drilling holes in the air cleaner box is to prevent moisture from getting inside the housing. In instances of riding your motorcycle in the rain or washing it you could inadvertently get water inside. When modifying or replacing the air cleaner with a cooler and a higher rate of air flow design that will help with performance, but will not prevent moisture getting in. I hope this helps you out. Thanks

Was wondering if anyone could assist me in finding out the parts needed to replace the mirrors on my 04 250. the brackets (so i've been told) on the inside are bent. Wish I had took some pictures today while i was out, but i was in too much pain to think about it. will get some tomorrow. I'd like to either look into getting the parts to repair and replace them or find some decently priced bar end mirrors.

been looking around on some part sites and have yet been able to find what it is that i need to replace. I have a temp mirror (a regular bike mirror with a strap to keep it on the bar end), but i fear it falling off and would like to have two mirrors and the temp fix only fits one side of the bike.

so please someone help me out.

"powershotent"

I've had trouble in past trying to find a "Reasonably priced"
Windshield replacement for 900LT's.. I'm sending 2 URL's
here, one has 2000LT replacement..which can work - even
the 800 Classic LT sometimes.. the other site is powersportsfx..
Here they are:

(1) RIFLE Fairings-Kawasaki Vulcan 2000 Classic LT OEM Replacement Windshield

(2)https://www.powersportsfx.com/sa/car...B01BE8F1BE4%7D

Sorry for the long address, but this takes you right to what you're lookin' for..

You will get a 15% forum member discount, but I would advise that you start a separate thread in this section.

Default handlebar risers meanstreak

have 2 1600 meanstreaks 04 and o5. I want to raise/pull back the bars a bit to ease the back on those 500 mile days. Dealer in Tucson told me I have to get new bars since the meanstreaks bars are welded not bolted. I remember seeing one at the dealer in Bend OR that had bolt on risers. They are no longer there. I have one bike in Sunriver OR and one in AZ. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Going to tour Alberta and BC in August. Jim

Hey guys, Paul here from the Milwaukee, WI area. Thought you might like to see a couple of shots of what must be a 'rare' kind of KZ650. At least the photos prove that several of the bikes were delivered with the pictured equipment. Bike is '78 KZ650B Burnt Orange, Vetter/Kawasaki fairing, matching Bates bags, Bill Wirges tail rack/backrest (not pictured). Installed a 750 engine mid '80 along with ACCEL coil/wires and Dyna S ignition. Carbs & exhaust are stock along with stock air cleaner. Still cruises mid 70's MPH with locking twistgrip accessory.
