    Question 96 Vulcan 500 petcock

    My petcock has a soft whitish compound around the filters... I took an ice pick to it just to see what it was and it appears that it scrapes away easily, but takes the metal that was holding the filters in place away as well!!!

    Guess it is time for a new petcock!

    Beartooth, how much for a petcock to my '96 Vulcan 500?
