desprate need of parts for Spectre!

I have a 83 kz-750-n2 Spectre and every place including the Kawasaki dealership here say's the bike doesn't exist! Only the local bike salvage knows what the bike is but he only had one so parts are running out. I need a lower gasket kit, shifter seal and right side cover to get the bike cherry again! please tell me how much for those things and money is no object. I refuse to give up this bike since I got my license on it and have riden it since I was 16.
I bought it March 2, 1987!

Kawasaki.com parts diagrams list the parts and numbers for the KZ750-N2 (Spectre) (1983). Check out the parts you need. If they look the same they probably are, and you can order by part number from your Kawasaki dealer, eBay, or Z-1 Enterprises.

just tried that for 30 minutes and it keeps telling me nothing found.

If that bike isn't in the Kawasaki parts diagram list, then look for the 1983 KZ750 LTD Shaft, they are the same machine except for cosmetic items like paint and the suspension may be different.
I bought a shifter shaft oil seal from the dealer, and I see engine covers on Ebay and in Ebay Stores all the time.
The lower gasket kit...what do you need? I don't have anything but they have to have gaskets someplace. In a bind you can always make your own out of gasket paper. O-rings and seals should be the same as the 750 LTD Shaft

Also, try entering your bikes VIN number in the Kawasaki Parts Diagram, it worked for my '83 it should work for your '84

By the way, just noticed they only made the Spectre in 82 & 83. If yours says 84 it is likely an error in paperwork at the motor vehicle dept. Give us your VIN number off the neck, it's probably an 83.

1983 - SPECTRE Warranty Status Vin: JKAKZDN13DA009227 Your warranty expired on 03/05/1987. No outstanding recalls for this unit.

Click on the Kawasaki site:

Welcome to Kawasaki.com

then scroll through the motorcycle listngs to find the 750 Sceptres. Two choices come up, either 1982 or 1983. Click on yours then click on parts diagrams to get hose and the part numbers. then click on the ? and input any part number you want to find interchangeability from bike to bike.

I found the parts I need, just my luck evey thing has been cancled so what now?

Get a list of those parts together, and the other models they were used on. Then sit down and search ebay, using those other models in the search. You'll find them , break out the credit card or Paypal!
