I'm not sure. Saw 'em on ebay but I'd rather do business with BTK than some outfit in Hong Kong.

Well, looking at the part diagrams the tank decals for the VN800 Classic look like the ones. Listed below are the part numbers and discounted prices,
56051-1429
Mark, Fuel Tank, LH - $39.91
56051-1430
Mark, Fuel Tank, RH - $39.91

Thanks

i bought the same exact ones off ebay a while back, then resold them on a forum maybe even here. i was almost positive they were off a 1500 classic but i could be wrong.

They look like the ones on my 800 except mine are formed to fit my side covers.

I think the 800 and 1500 are the same.
There is a left and a right... the "front" wing is curved in to fit the contour of the tank.

I bought a set on eBay to stick on my windshield but I wrinkled the chrome trying to heat and flatted it out.

Same Idea as me, Rich. I want to put one on my fairing to cover the bar and shield. .

Ya, the tank badges are too curved to work for that... there's a VERY sharp curve at one end where it wraps the front of the tank.

Best way to go for a trunk or fairing is to get the red "V" shaped badge used on the LT and Nomad passenger backrests. It's perfectly flat.
