I'm new on here and have been searching for the answer to what you all think is probably a bit of a stupid question!

Do i need to make any other mods to my 1999 ZX9R if i change the standard exhaust end can for a standard one?

Any advice would be very welcome.

That should be "standard exhaust end can for a race can" (prat!!!)

generally speaking as mentioned in this very thread... most exhaust changes other then open pipes should not require fuel mods, change the intake and the exhaust then you are on to something

Figures, just as I get comfortable enough to do the harley dyna exhaust mod on my Vulcan 500 this thread comes alive again. I did have to adjust the idle screw. Other than that I haven't touched the carbs. Think things will be okay?
