A few years ago I owned a custom 02 Honda Civic and was highly involved in shows and clubs. I joined a website similar to this one called 7thgencivic.com. On their forum they had a section for locations that was then sub-divided into states, then north/south if big enough. This was helpful so that people who were located in the same area could organize meet-ups and BBQ's, etc. I know riders, such as myself, love getting together riding in packs and enjoying the road as a family. Just a suggestion

Hmmmm....Hollister....you one of them outlaw biker types?
Welcome to the forum. This community is actually relatively small when considering the number of active people. Generally, just posting a thread in the rides section will get plenty of attention for a get-together. They do it each year for a PA gathering, and we did it last fall here in NC.

yeah, and we are getting ready to again my friend.
I do think a forum just labeled "Rides and Fun" is needed so we just dont have to post in a forum that really isnt ride designated. No you dont have to break it down by region, as most rides are deided on in the last minute based on weather. But yes, a Ride section is needed. |

The regional thing is brought up regularly, but for whatever reason, the mods and admin are not in favor of it.

Thanks for the responses. I just like getting together with people of the same interests, BBQ'n, bulls**t'n..... ya know typical thing. Maybe I'll try and set something up in the rallies and rides section once the weather gets warmer...
Oh and no I'm not one of those outlaw guys. Most of them (in my opinion) have loss the true meaning of riding. |

There hasn't been an outlaw in Hollister in many years.

I think there may be some concern that it might impact the sharing of information, with some people sticking to their regional section rather than posting in the specific tech forums.
