Default No 4x4 on brute force

I had a wiring issue that ended up being the bus bar fixed that but now it will not engage into 4x4. The belt indicator and speed govenor were on but have been reset, all the components test out ok, like the actuators, speed sensor and brain box.. Are ther any hiden fuses or relays that may be causing the problem, Any suggestions would be a great help, Im stumped ????????

If the four wheel drive will not engage, and there are no error codes, then you need to check the front axle actuator by disassembling the actuator from the axle and testing it live to make sure it is switching by moving the output.

If it is not running and switching then you need to test the relay for the front actuator. There are two relays, and both are identical, but only one is the front axle engagement - I just do not remember off the top of my head which one it is.

If the relay is good, and you hear the actuator motor running but nothing happening on the output shift mechanism, then it is the actuator.

You can use the parts diagrams on Kawasaki.com to help you find the parts and how they relate to each other.

We have checked everything the only thing we think it might be is the ecm, because we are getting a low voltage on the output.

If you suspect the ECM get the machine scanned by your Kawasaki dealer. It will save you hours and untold dollars replacing parts that are not defective.

If the battery is going south and not holding the proper load voltage that will give similar symptoms, and will fry the ECM from excessive voltage in the charging circuit. So have the battery properly tested too.
