I see very few posts about the Mule 600/610.
- That could be good: Very few problems! - Or bad: They're so slow people are bored by them, not worth talkin' about. I dunno, but I enjoy toillin' around in mine all over creation! Just upgrade my stereo, too: - New Sony CD player with iPod control/ charge cable (Head unit controls the iPod!) - Kicker ZX550.3 3-channel amp ((L & R full range 70W @ 4 ohms) + (sub channel 420W @ 2 ohms)) - Alpine SPS-600 6-3/4" coax full range speakers - Alpine SWS-1043D 10" 4ohm DVC sub in a sealed box in the truck up front (I cut a 12" hole in the trunk facing the cab so it can be heard without rattles!) Thank you that is all.

I suspect the reason for few postings is that the little Mule seldom requires anything other than normal preventive maintenance. Generally they are purchased by people that are looking for reliable and conservative transport in difficult terrain and are operated well within their design parameters.

I looked at both the 610 and 3010 and told the dealer when i came back with my trailer that whichever one fit 1st in the trailer was the one I'd take. The 3010 was 1st and with just 2 inches to spare. If I had had a pick up truck at the time may have gone with the 610 but no regrets what so ever with the 3010

I bought a 2008 mule 610 in Feb of 2008. It ran fine. We ride mostly good trails nothing very steep or deep ruts. We kept it til Aug. of 2008 when we found a used 2007 3010 trans mule. Riding the kids on the 610 made it very tight! With the trans mule we have plenty of room. We can even strap the kids' carseats to the back seat.
