Question Question About Bayou220

ok i am testing to see if i have power to any wires and i started at the battery than i went to the sil and stoped i have power going to the sil but nothing coming out of the sil where the four wires come out of the sil i even pulled the wires off and tested the four prongs and still nothing.

So my question is does this mean that the sil is gone bad and would the sil stop the rest of the bike from having power and also would this stop the bike from firing. zeek.

New and used repair manual kawasaki Bayou 220, Automotive on eBay.ca

Tons of manuals for cheap via ebay!

You will find if you follow the instructions in the manual, the problem is much easier to identify.

There are three wires on the plug for the starter solenoid. One is ground (Black, Yellow stripe), one is the charging wire (White), and the activation wire is black and should have juice when the starter button is pushed. The white wire will have current when the key is turned on.
