I need to change the oil in a 1987 Bayou 300 I got. I do not have a owners manual, I know where the drain plug is and It came with a new filter, and I know where it is located. My question is "how much oil does it take and what weight and brand. Thanks

SE class SAE 10W40, 10W50, 20W40, 20W50
2.2 liter with filter. You can go to Kawasaki.com and follow the links to the parts diagrams, then select "specifications" to get a complete list of oils and capacities for the Bayou 300. You will likely have to select a fairly current model year for the data, but they are all the same.
