My first post on the board. I have been looking at several used mules in the past month and found one but not sure about the price. A 2005 3000 with 287 hours on it .The mule is in good condition and has been taken good care of.The owner is asking $4,500.00 for it.Does this seem like a fair price.I have also looked at the new 610's are the 2009 models. Still undecided on which unit to purchase.

You can use KBB.COM to determine the value in your area. Just choose the motorcycle value section, then go to Kawasaki, and page down to the Utility section.

Around here a good used 3000 would go for around $4,700, and the 3010 would be about $5,600. A used Trans 3010 will go for about $800 more than the standard 3010.

When making your choice, keep in mind that the four wheel drive units like the 610 have low range and can work. The 2 wheel drive units, the 3000, are high range only and limited with respect to operation in slick conditions, and will not haul or carry as much weight.
