02 Mule Project

A buddy gave this Mule to my son. It came to us with a grenaded tranny. the gear box was pulled apart and sat in the rain four a couple of years before I got it. I repaired the gear box with new bearings gears etc. I have everything put back together but the new belt is wearing on one side bad so something is wrong. The drive pulley looks to be working fine, when I rev up the engine I can see the pulley pull in and engage the belt. I am looking at the driven pully to see if that could be the problem but do not understand how it works or how to disassemble it for inspection. The repair manual does not tell me much.
Using the holder, remove the fixed Sheave [A] from the shaft.

Is there an alignment for the drive and driven pulley? Possibly a washer shim that should be on the shaft for the drive or driven?
