Low stator voltage on 95 bayou300 4x4

I know I need a stator, but here goes: My stator puts out variable voltage at all rpms, but the max is usually only about 15 volts. I did the meter checks on the yellow wires, and there is NO continuity between the windings, NO continuity to ground, and I cannot get a resistance to measure between coil wires. I am assuming there is an open in one of the stator coils; am I right?

Yep, my stator is dead as heck.

yeah. It sounds that way. There should be continuity between the three different legs at least. Each coil has to be connected anyway.

Wanna know an even bigger bummer? I scrapped a flywheel and charging coil last week that had been sitting in the garage because of a lack of interest in electrical parts.
