Hi ,
I just bought a new 2006 Bayou 250 4x2 I'm having problems with it stalling, replaced the plug, ran ok for 15-30 mins then the same thing. It seems to be filing out the plug, stalling and backfiring. any help would be appreciated. |

Take it back to your dealer, they may have to rejet or adjust the carb. That particluar machine is a great little machine but very temprimental and needs fine tuning, always shut the gas off on it when your transporting it or it will leak. Good Luck.

i have a 1996 Bayou 300 4x4 and let me tell you a small story... My dad tore into the carbeurator one day cleaning it out, but accidently messed with the adjustment screws, and it did exactly what yours is doing. It was just running WAY too rich, and we found the manuals, put the screw all the way in, and rotated it out as much as the manual said and it ran fine ever since. Wel also adjusted the idle cuz it was so low we couldnt get it into gear without revving the motor first.
owners manuals FTW!
