Default 2000 - 2510 Diesel overheating

I need a replacement fan belt and thermostat for my mule. Can I get aftermarket or is this dealer only? I might have destroyed the shroud beyond repair but it was a bear to get out of the way and I could see the belt was shreaded. I eliminated the low coolant issue and assumed the thermostat was stuck so I removed it. The rubber is coming apart so I'm going to replace it while I'm at it. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Working from my wheelchair is a bear to get at this stuff.
Thanks!

Some bike shops will have it. Still $25 - $30. for the thermostat. Just match width and length of belt at any auto shop I would think - that's what I am planning to do.
Yea how tough was that shroud...do you have a 4x4? What caused yours to be a problem? There are a few hard to reach bolts and on mine you had to get the fan cover off first just to move around and remove some hard hose off the frame for clearance, but down at the bottom...crank pully and axle shaft has NO room. Mine was broken so I could slip it out. I have a problem getting it back in after I fix it. In fact the cover has a long notch in it just to have running clearance. So.. what are you going to do about a shroud now??

Default Overheating

Overheating may not be the thermostat. I bought a new OEM water pump and a thermostat, installed both, and still overheated. I removed the thermostat and still overheated. I went crazy for a couple of weeks trying to figuer it out.
I found very little coolant flow so I replaced the water pump impeller with the old one and carefully filled the system and so far so good. It seems that the new impeller was smaller that the original.
When filling coolant, be patient, jack up the front of the machine while filling, wait for all the bubbles to stop. There are some good threads on filling the system.
I also ordered a new thermostat and the original is a 65 and they sent a 82. Specify what temp range.
Good Luck,
