Default Mule 3010 Diesel Fuel

Living in a rural area, I have a bulk diesel fuel tank for fueling my New Holland tractor. I use red/ruby, sometimes referred to as "farm", diesel for my tractor. Is it permissable to use this type of diesel for a diesel engined Mule? This is not specifically mentioned in the Owner's Manual unless I just missed it. I really would appreciate feedback on this.

If it is off road its ok. Same fuel just dyed red so DOT can see it in tanks.

Thanks for your input, dirtwarrior. Your comment is exactly what I believe, too.

This came up when I was scheduling first service on my 3010 Trans 4 X 4 Diesel with the service manager of the nearest Kawasaki dealer. He related that another customer of his with a fairly new diesel mule using red diesel had serious engine problems including galling of pistons/cylinders and ruined injectors. Upon contacting a Kawasaki "factory" service technician about this problem, the service tech said that it was caused by the use of the red diesel because it was not as clean as the non-dyed diesel. Well, I think that is BS but wanted to check it out anyway, therefore my thread on this forum.

Thanks again for the comments. You have just confirmed what I already believed.

By the way, KAWI, I love Red Lodge, Mt. and the Bear Tooth Highway. Have ridden the Bear Tooth a couple of times on my H-D and have spent the night in Red Lodge.

I was told by my cousin (works for Ashland Oil in KY) that it is the exact same diesel but with red die added so inspectors can determine taxed or not.
