Cdi Box Help

Hello all, yes it me again, lol im looking for a CDI box and found some off a kawaski bayou klf 220 1997, mine bayou is a 1988 klf 220 they are saying will work on some klf 220, is this true, are they just trying to sell this CDI box need some advice,plz reply thank you guys

I know when I was looking for one for mine only certain years fit it. Get the # off the back of your CDI and punch the # into ebay, thats how I found the correct replacement for mine and at half the cost too.
