Help!!,
I have a 2001 prairie and it has a definite knock in the transmission. So this off season I decided to tear into it and try to find the problem. I haven't got very far because I cannot get the drive convertor pulley off!!!!! I even ordered the correct puller (internal) and the thing will not budge. Now over the course of several attempts the puller has twisted off inside the pulley, yes inside the pulley!!! So I'm about to start the process of pulling the engine, so that I can get a better shot at removing the pulley. Any suggestions??? Also While I have it out I thought I would have the jug bored out to .60 over. How much more CCs will I gain from doing this?? And will I have to rejet the carb??? Any comments or guideance would greatly be appreciated.......
