Mule 610 e-brake

The parking brake on my Mule 610 no longer engages and the handle will not stay up. No "clicks" are heard when the handle is pulled, but if you hold the handle, the brakes do hold. Any help? Thanks.

Apparentyl there is a failure of the ratchet mechanism in the handle. Try putting some lube, like WD-40 in there. If that doesn't work, you may have to buy a new lever assembly. Possibly a spring broke in there.

Thanks for the help, Roofgunner. I tried the WD-40 but it didn't help. I looked at the diagrams on the Kawasaki site and decided that your assessment is correct. I have ordered a new lever assembly but I have not yet recieved it. I'll let you know how it works out.

I have installed the new lever assembly and my e-brake is now working perfectly. Thanks for steering me in the right direction, Roofgunner.
