Default Mule 610, can it handle the mud?

I live in south florida near the glades, and am looking into a mule 610. We have our share of mud and water. Can the 610 mule handle the mud?

Yes. Just use common sense and pay attention to your maintenance requirements.

The 610 is fan cooled and will suck water up and blow it on the hot engine, which does not really seem to hurt much, but you do have to be careful of what we call duck weed so it does not plug the air intake for the fan. You also do not want to dive into deep water with a very hot engine, as you can get thermal shock (just like in your plane if you back off the throttles and richen the mixture and dive after pulling to altitude and working the engine hard). Thermal shock will shorten the engine life, but will not stop it. Like I say, use common sense. It will handle more swamp than I can by walking.
