Some info: I hooked up a Sony CDXGT320 in-dash type CD player to my Mule 610 with two small surface-mount speakers, no amp.
The info part is that at normal listening volume, not too much rockin', it kills the stock battery in about 4-5 hours. My Mule & its original battery are about 14 months old. I added a 5/8" thick plywood roof to my Mule with some U-bolts. The stereo is screwed to the bottom of the roof, and I enclosed it with a peg board box, protects it from water and dust pretty well. OH! One more thing, don't drill holes in your roll bar - Turns out it's sealed with compressed air for extra strength. I drilled a tiny hole in mine and whooooosh, all the air came out. Now it's like a limp biscuit. OK, I can't really tell anything's different, but it's bound to be weaker. I still stand on the roof and prune tree branches around the yard. Later ... |
