Default Brute Force 4x4

Any pro's and con's to the Kawasaki Brute Force FI 750 ATV's? I'm looking at buying one here in the near future. I was told to buy something with the independent rear suspension because they have a way better ride, but I am open to either one really.

So what are some of the pro's and con's to this beast of a machine?

Hey Ryan, Drop Cary a line as he picked up a Brute Force from Jim last year and he loves it. Have seen Cary push some really deep snow with it and he uses it for hunting also.

I have a couple of Suzuki's one with rear ind. suspension and one with the live axle ... get an ATV with the ind. suspension if you can swing it.

Although the Suzuki's have worked well for me, they are always having fuel issues (carbs and fuel pumps); the next one for me will be the Kawi side X side, possibly a Teryx or the Mule.

The brute is just that. Its an awesome machine. I have one in thunder blue.
Its a monster. Wheelies on command. Governs out at 65MPH in stock form.
Tons of after market accessories. Buy the independent if you are just riding regular. Buy the solid axle if you doing hill riding. I have the independent. its nice comfy ride. I rode it for 6 hours straight one day. Did great. There is a dedicated forum out there for them as well.

Thanks guys, I'll be using mine for hunting, play, but will also be a work horse, snow plow, dragging rakes and such for yard leveling. I'm thinking maybe the solid axle would be strong for what I want to use it for.

If you are going to be doing more yard work with it the live axle (straight axle) will be fine, but the Ind Rear Suspension is the best way to go if you are in rough country hunting.

Everyone I talk to says independent is much smoother. Maybe I will go that route, I have some rough country here.

One of the two quads I have is a 1992 Suzuki King Quad 4X4 with Ind rear suspension (250cc). The other is a 2005 Suzuki Eiger with the straight axle (400cc), also 4X4.

That old King Quad will out pull and out climb the newer, and more powerful Eiger. The ride quality is so much better with the ind. suspension also.

Keep us posted Ryan on what you end up doing.

Sorry I'm late here but I bought a Brute Force 650i and love that thing. Like Gene said...it's a brute and can do amazing things!

We had alot of snow this past winter and while getting started on my first plow of the season I began to push deep snow around and mound it up pretty high. While I was pushing a heavy load of wet snow I noticed I was skidding some and wondered what was up. I looked down at the LCD display and saw it was in 2wd. My eyes went open wide as I couldn't believe the amount of heavy snow the things was pushing around and was doing it in 2wd. Once I put it in 4wd it really shined and could do about anything.

I'm very pleased with the Brute Force and am happy I went with the independant suspension as it does offer a smooth ride in rough terrain. I took it hutning in the mountains with me and rode some rough roads to see how it ould handle and it was awesome and very comfortable to ride. I really think you'd love a Brute Force too if you decide to buy one.

P.S. I bought mine from Beartooth Kawasaki and got a great deal and enjoyed a nice dinner with Jim & Laurie when they delivered it to our home. Now that's excellent service!!!

That is a load of green you have there ... congrats.

The 750 should cause some serious smiles!
