Hello,
Any input would be great. I have a 06 750I brute force. Starts fine but idles very rough. Always spits and sputters at slow speed but clears at around 15 mph. Changed the gas and is still doing it and changed the plugs. Has 75 hrs and about 250 miles. Any ideas???? Thanks |

I think you are on the right track with the fuel. Pick up a fuel restoration and preservative such as PRI-G and keep it in your fuel. Hydrotex also has fuel system cleaning products, but they are largely unaffordable for a regular guy. Sometimes you can get away with the fuel conditioner from Evinrude/Johnson and it will work too, but the PRI products are the most affordable of which I am aware.
It will clean out the crud that is in the injection system after a tank or so. The problem is the oxygenated (ethanol alcohol added) fuel we have goes bad in as little as two weeks. That leaves deposits in the fuel system.
