Constantly Fouling Spark Plug

I have a Bayou 300 2x4 - no idea what year it is. It is constantly fouling the spark plug and the end of it is pitch black. Is a carb rebuild needed? Or any tips or hints on mixture adjustment?

Does it burn oil. I have a 200X three wheeler that burned oil like crazy and would foul out plugs every time I started it. The plugs were black and oil soaked also. I finally had to break down and rebuild the top end.

well how does the machine run other than fouling the tip out?sounds like its runnin a bit to fat on fuel.or may have the wrong plug in it to cold of a plug may want to investigate that if not for sure on what year the machine is,and as lungwax says is the bike smoking out the pipe while running as oil burning or does it smell like like gas heavaly out the muffler?if yes to smellin gas out the muffler then rebuild the carb reset the up to specs and replace the plug with the original plug that the machine calls for,and also hows the battery in good shape?weak spark can also cause this concerns coil/battery/plug wire etc,let us know -corey-
