Default 98kvf400 overheating

i have a 1998 kvf 400a.I recently replaced piston rings, valve seals,head gasket and base gasket.Bike runs fine but ever since work was done i'm having problems with overheating.I can drive for 25-30 minutes before temp light comes on.any help would be appreciated.

is the cooling fan comeing on? and also may have a stuck thermostat or water pump impeeler may be broken open radiator cap andsee if the coolant is flowing while cold and let it come up to temp when thermo is to open if not flowing then try a t stat first but you may also have a air pocket in the system that will cause this also.but if the cooling fan is not comein on then you may have a bad temp senser or relay or fan motor or water pump -corey-

well thats good to hear i myself am a tech chrysler and gm certified and a ase master it all sucks workin on em any more id rather fix bikes for a livin i like that better than cars any more lol
