Hello All,
I have a 2005 Prairie 700 And the belt broke. I have a few questions. Are there any special tools needed? I am a mechanic by trade but I do not have a manual, as long as there are no special tools needed I should be ok I guess. Any and All Pointers-Advice would be appreciated Does anyone know of a web site with drawings and/or instructions for this. Work all the time so don't have much time for this and I refuse to take anything to a shop or garage. Thanks |

They are pretty simple to change, just like a snowmobile.
Very good parts depictions are available on Kawasaki.com under the user section, then follow the link to parts diagrams. Unfortunately, they break their diagrams down into three sections, once for the cover and vents, one for the drive clutch, and one for the driven clutch. Just pay attention to the switch inside the cover that catches the belt if it is loose or broken. Follow the instructions in your operator's manual to reset that.
