    Thumbs up Bayou 300

    Hi all
I have a Bayou 300 KLF quad that I recovered from a barn. The timing chain had slipped and the inlet valve broken. I have replaced the parts but would like to make sure the timing is right before I put the flywheel back.
I have aligned the keyway on the crankshaft with the line in the case moulding which I think is TDC. The marks on the camshaft cog are at 12 and 6 o'clock but when I turn the engine by hand it seems to be exhausting through the intake. I am turning the crankshaft clockwise.
If any one van help I would be grateful.

    Cheers
    Simon

    Welcome Simon!

Sorry I can't help you with the Bayou but be sure to post this in the Mechanics Corner as you'll probably get a reply there.
