Ok guys i bought a kawasaki mule 1000 i found the vin but how do you tell what yr it is any help would be apreasiated MANY THANKS

Where did you find the VIN? Can you post a photo showing where it is?

They are decoded just like car VIN's The 10Th character of the VIN is the model year. "Y" is a 2000 model. 1 is a 2001, 2 is a 2002, 3 is a 2003.
Older? 1999 is "X" and so on. There are some letters that are not used so you need a chart..
