Default Two Mule 1000s

Will be getting two 1994 KAF-450-B1 Mule 1000s with full hard cabs and heaters from my brother-in-law's work place in Wyoming. I have only paid $434 for both with some spare parts and 6 new ITP tires on them. I don't think I will lose much if not liked. I have a few ?'s to ask. Where can I get a full service manual? I also live in Iowa and will these units need rejeting? There are a few things wrong with them as far as I know. First one has a fully rebuilt motor but was not charging the battery when return from the dealer, so it got parked. The other one was fouling plugs so it got parked. Any info on these units would be great. I am pretty handy and hope to get them up and running as soon as I make the trip to pick them up. Thanks Andy

You did well, re not charging on rig, in the service manual, (available from the site sponsor at a discount if you remind them you are a forum member) for testing the alternator both statically and dynamically w/o the regulator connected. Could be someone jumped it with 24 V and popped the regulator. Maybe it didn't get reconnected, under the seat on the passenger side as I remember. Fouling plugs is usually carb or air supply concerns. Filters are under the seat one for the engine and one for the CVT belt. Carbs are Kawasaki 545 motorcycle units I understand. Mine were trashed and I popped for the new pair on the bracket for $660 and it was a good deal for sure, Carbs were synched and adjusted spot on. They are CV carbs so altitude shouldn't be too much of a concern. Enjoy !! they are great units
