2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak???

In My Opinion (I just love saying that)

Kawasaki should take a lesson from Honda and make a V4 muscle bike like the V65 Magna. The Meanie lines would look great with 130 to 150 HP running to the rear and quad pipes shouting back at the competition.

I totally agree. I plan to eventually pick up a late 90's early 2000's magna to custom out. I love that they're so quick, yet have the standard v-twin cruiser body style.

If we're talking a power cruiser (..what the meanstreak is 'supposed' to be..), a v-twin just wont cut it, IMO. The Honda Magna 750 will match if not come out ahead, and the Magna 1100 would simply destroy the v2k by almost 2 seconds in the quarter mile. I'd rather have an engine like that put into a new meanie rather than another big twin engine. If we're not talking about making the meanie a power cruiser like it was intended to be, then why not just buy a v2k rather than making another streak.

true, but we want the look and ride quality of a meanstreak. So, really fast, but designed with the cruiser look and eurgos for riding it all the time and not just for the drag strip. I personally would hardly term the VMax as a "cruiser" even though some do.

Why did the magna go buy the wayside? Nearly everyone has heard of there BA reputation. What was the downside to the V-4. Come to think of it...Doesn't someone still make one. Yamaha maybe???Royal Star

Supposedly puttin out "nearly" 100 hp. Any one ever road one? Wonder if they run like the magna's? Surely run pretty hard with "nearly" 100 hp.
