Hey folks,

I've been lurking for about a month and finally wanted to post and say Hi (Freakinout fixed it so I could finally post, couldn't figure that one out...) I've been riding dirt bikes for many years, just bought my new Vulcan 1600 last month, I love it.

You guys have a great forum, I'll try to add to it.

I absolutely LOVE it. I rode it to the Loretta Lynn's GNCC race outside of Nashville (about 400 mile round trip) to watch my son race. It was a ball, plus a got to spend the weekend with 1000 motorcycle people from all over the contry. That bike is smooth as silk at 80, it was way better than I could have hoped.

So is it a 1600 classic?
My 1600 Mean Streak is a Vulcan too... I didn't know it til I was home with it... hehe! It just didn't click.

Yeah, it's a Classic. I loved the look of the Meanie but my back didn't, too far forward for this short guy.

I think it's called Midnight Blue, a really dark blue metallic. Unless the sun is on it, it almost looks black, OH YEAH!
