Trying to send pics. I ain't to computer savvy. Made a mistake in my 1st post. Manual reads 112 kph, not mph. Logged another 200 mile on her today. Light rain and drizzle most of the time.
Great Bike for me. Finally a bike with more power than I need. The slightly pulled back handlebars fit me perfect. Spent about 6 hours in the saddle. Seat could be softer, but the long winter and rain has got me a little soft in the tail too. Only got to show it to 2 friends. Both loved the look and the sound. I can't compare this to the other big displacement bikes as I've never ridden any. And this is my first Kawasaki even going back to my dirt bike days. Compared to my 1100 Shadow, it's like night and day. She doesn't even grunt at highway speeds. Rode the Shadow from Alabama to N.J and back. 2k round trip. Logged 700 miles on the longest day. Had fun but wore me out. Plan on taking this girl to S.D. in May. Can hardly wait. Even now after 200 miles in the rain, she's out there hollering "Ride Me, Ride Me". The big semi's hardly effect her at all on the interstate. Ain't many going to pass me anyhow, it's the other way around. Don't know what she weighs. A lot. But she carrys it with grace. There is a fair amount of plastic but it shines like chrome. Love the instrument panel. I wanted a bike that would go the long haul w/o looking for gas every 120 miles or so. Also I did'nt want one that looked like a "bagger" (No offense to anyone). The gauge said I was averaging 35 mpg but the pump said closer to 37. Anyway I never saw the low fuel light at over 150 miles before I gassed up. I hope to be able to go 180+ miles before I have to start worrying about petro. You know you have got something under you on this baby. Beefy sound. Vibration, but not too much. You know your on a motorcycle. Like I said before, This is the girl for me. I'll let ya'll know if I have any issues. If I can't post any pics with this post, my daughter will be home tonight and she knows how. I will make a believer out of you, darkwalker. Hey I gotta a couple of hours of daylight left. She's still calling.

I like the colors. Looked at the same bike at the dealer yesterday. Very pretty.

It just needed to be a touch longer for me to fit it though.

Congrats on the new scoot!!!! Hope it treats you well.

As I said before congrats, but how come everytime I look at a new bike, the first thing I do is start looking at how to modify it. Is this some sort of addiction that I am going to need a 12 step program for?
