Default Silver Bullet Lighting

Does anyone have any experience with silver bullet turn signals manufactured by Kuryakyn or any brand for that matter? I'm looking to suppliment my existing Clear Alternatives Integrated taillight with more visible turn signals. I'd like to mount them to the fender struts and am curious if the LED versions would supply enough visible light. I would like to stick with the LED theme if it's practical (meaning safe). Anyone have input?

Hey! sorry I just came across this posting, but have you gotten an answer to your question. I installed Kuryakyn bullet halogen lights that were just the perfect fit.

Yeah, it seems more people go with the haolgen option. I haven't came across too many that have used the LED bullets.

I actually just installed the LED bullets. Easy install, very visible - more so than the stock signals.
Right now they are amber and used only as turn signals, but I may get red bulbs in the future and make them brake/turn or running/turn.

I appreciate your feedback on the LED version. I'll keep them on my "To Do" list.

An important detail on the LEDs: Make sure you get a load equalizer. I got my dual-filament silver bullets from Scootworks and the equalizer was included. This was very simple to wire in but a necessity to make them flash at the correct rate.
You MAY also need a diode kit if you have a single indicator light on your dash. It prevents cross-talk between each side. I didn't need one for whatever reason, but I've read other posts where people did.

hmm... interesting.

first time I've heard about the diode. makes sense. I already updated my flasher on account of having the integrated tailight.
