Just purchased a wonderful "salvage" wrecked bike from ebay - was looking for a project - and boy did I find it. I am located in CT - bike is being shipped here as we speak to begin its reconditioning.

Apparently the bike was in a bump and slide accident - ie engine, frame, forks, all fine. Lots of body damage to many areas of the bike.

So heres my thought - and if im posting this in the wrong place please let me know - I am going to post the before picks and ongoing ones as I make the changes! Think this will keep me excited and motivated.

Also - i am looking for input - as this is the first kawasaki/MS SE I have owned I am open to ANY opinions or suggestions you may have. First priority is to get it together and going. Then we work on replacement/repair of existing body damage. I am soooo excited to get started.

As you make suggestions, if you can include what you think the cost may be for your suggestions!

Thank you. I will post the condition with pictures when it gets here in a few days.

David
I'm seriously considering a salvaged bike for a project bike. It seems like this turning out well for you. Keep the post going.
