    Default Light bar pictures???

    I just bought this:
    K32001-002

Anyone got pictures of it installed on an old BUBF? Or Vulcan 88, Ive got a 93 A model, and am in the works of de-BU-ing the thing, ears go next, then comes the new seat cover (already modified the seat, but am using an old leather jacket for a cover for now, and its a bit worse for wear), then its just a matter of polish and front suspension...

I installed a set of Fire and Steel ones I got off ebay. I did have to modify them to fit with the Memphis Shade windshield.

This is a 95 Vulcan 88. If you have the stock headlight assembly and are not running a windshield the install is a breeze. Just 4 bolts that screw up under the lower triple tree. Then 2 wires back to the switch, then 1 wire back to plug near frame. I also put in a rely so that the lights come on with the headlight and not just the key switch. Helps when starting the bikes. I've have replaced my headlight and dashboard with a chopper style headlight and a led dashboard.

Those are they! sweet look. I've yet to install mine, but will be very soon. Got all the rest of my parts, time to collect hardware.

This pic shows the problem I ran into when installing both windshield and lightbar. Shield hits just behind the light. I had to trim off an inch from the lightbar bracket and use a 4 inch extention to push the lights forward. Also notice in the pic the black triangular plastic piece. This is where the turnsignals would mount. I cut it off and left them mounted to the forks. Shield came with brackets that bolt to the forks so that you can relocate the turnsignals. Otherwise in the oem config they would be behind the shield.

Looks a lot like a Cobra lightbar to me, but I'm not 100% sure.

I so want to put a light bar on my '04 1500 and almost pulled the trigger on a F&S one that was on eBay, but I'm 99% sure it won't fit with my National Cycle windshield. Mharmon, how far forward does the bracket you made push the light bar? Was it hard to make?
