For today, my answer is no. 10, 15 years from now...maybe. I have trouble with my hip from time to time, but I think I've got quite a few years before I can't hold up my bike.

I'm on the fence. I think I'd need to ride another few to see if I like it or not. right now I'd go with that motor home trike, sure beats the Boss Hoss trike I was going to use to pull my camper.

You could always get one of these! The All New Stallion Trike Motorcycle I guy in my club has one. It's frigging crazy! Has air conditioning and everything!

Come on now... that's just taking the "make yourself visible" theme to the extreme.
How do you explain to an officer that you pulled out in front of a big yellow trike/camper combo and didn't see it...
There's going to be a new competition on these now... how many pop-outs does your bike have?
However, I think it has 5 wheels.

More Harleys wave to me now that I have a fairing.
A Kettenrad maybe, but just for around town. Seriously, if it meant I couldn't ride because I couldn't hold up a Bike, I'd want to look into it but I'd also give serious consideration to a Hack.

There is another company out there building Trik conversions like the one posted earlier, its called a Voyager. And they have a model for the Vn900 Classic LT.

I might be interested in the future, but the VN900 already has very little road clearence as it is , and either unit would reduce that even further.

I would have to give it a try, so i am not sure if I would ride one or not. I like the looks of a trike, but the ride and looks are two completely different things.
A V2K in the hand is priceless.

Have a neighbor who lost a leg to a blood clot. He rides a trike and likes it a lot. The artificial leg gave him too many problems with a standard bike.
BTW, he has flames on his artificial leg!

If you don't grow up by age 60, you don't have to.
I always figured if it came to the point I had to get rid of the bike, I'd go for some old school or classic cage. But I tell ya that stallion looks pretty cool and a little more stable than a standard trike with the longer wheelbase and all. But the price??? I'd better start saving now.

Now? No. When I'm too old or if I'm hurt and I want to ride? Sure.

If I did, would have to be a v8 one, I think the kits on the bikes and even the VW ones look too tacked on. needs the motor in the front in my opinion

I bought an Insta-Trike kit for the 650 VStar I got for my wife. She had issues with putting all the moving parts together at the MSF new riders class. The thought was that she could learn the throttle, shifting, braking, and stuff without fear of dropping the bike. I rode it but I was never comfortable with fighting physics in the turns. Bikes are meant to lean not roll. If I couldn't hold the bike up a longer I would put one on but not until then.
BTW, the Insta-Trike kit is available if anybody wants to buy it. My wife has given up on learning to ride. Only a couple hundred miles on it!
I'm not quite ready for a trike, but would consider a "true" trike setup on a GoldWing or HD for sure and other bikes if the engineering was good. I like the look of the Can-Am Spyder, too.
I saw a guy with the bolt on training wheels a couple of weekends ago...I would not ride that. At least, not without the plastic hung on for bags, etc. Training wheels on a motorcycle is just too weird. Even my wife was asking about turning one of them -- and while we were behind him for a while she saw that it's basically turned like a cage.
