Question about Thunder Switch

Anybody installed a dash mounted Thunder Switch? I was wondering if it is hard to do. Does it have a plug-in type connection, or do the wires to the original ignition switch have to be cut and then spliced to the new switch?
Also, if you have installed one, how do you like it?? It looks like it would be a useful mod to add.

No Thunder switch here but I have considered using a Clapper on mine!
