Default Cincinnati Run Saturday, July 4th

Ok folks, change of plans. Instead of a WV run, we are going to be heading down towards Cinci and heading east along the river, this Saturday, July 4th.

Anyone interested is more than welcome to come along. Besides, we can use some tour guides down that way...

Were you planning on heading down 71 the whole way? If so I can meet you at the same gas station in Ashland. Just give me a time.

Yes, I figured if we blaze down 71 that would give us more exploring time down that way.

We can pick Dan up along the way somewhere, probably Rt 33...

portsmouth motorcycle club ohio - Google Maps

Portsmouth Motorcycle Club. The flood wall is just to the right as you're looking at the map.

Looks like I'm in as long as we stop to smell the roses now and again. Stock seat isn't forgiving! It's official I have the bike. Where am I meeting up and when!?

Wow, just came thru Portsmouth last weekend in my cage, went to a family reunion in KY.
If you are near there you should ride up the Old Scioto Trail #377 its a heck of a quick climb in altitude and some twisties to boot. At the top there is a scenic overlook. If you look at your Flood wall murals map. Zoom in a little, follow 23 north to Rosemont, Take the Old Scioto Trail to Rosemont Rd. it runs between 23 and 139. We cut across there to by-pass Portsmouth getting from 23 south to 52 east. Oh and there is a car dealer on the corner of Old Scioto Trail and Rosemont who always has some very cool old school cages. Its a kinda cool ride, although its short. If My son wasn't coming in this weekend from base and I didn't have 2 July 4th parties to go to be I would join up with you guys. I'm glad he's been able to come home from Ft Drum for a few long weekends since it looks like he is getting deployed in September.

hmm.. I'm skeptical about your calculations ride guru.

If i have us taking 23 down to Portsmouth, then run along the river... no matter how I'm slicing it I'm running well over 300, about 400 if i run up and go through Athens home
