hi all,
recently I have changed my front tyre with a 90/90-21, and my front fender broke, so.... I am trying to find a new one, not necessarily stock, but I don’t know what these dimensions mean: 4.50”, 5.50"… and so on, what is this measurement? How do I know what I need and how to measure? Thank you…. Mick |

Mick... why the new fender? I liked the look of your chopped one, but I guess you get a lot more spray up the front of your bike when you hit mud puddles.

yes, the look is good, i like it too... but it doesn't need to be a puddle of mud, just a litlle bit of water and it is everywhere. I mean even on top of the gas tank, on the inside of my visor (i wear a nolan open face with visor), on the top of the head light..... so is this measurement the opening between the fixing points? |

I don't know if it's variations in the Metz tires, or in Kawi's fender/mounting, but there have been a bunch of people run the 90/90 with no problems, but since your post, I've heard of 4 or 5 who have had clearance issues.
