Default Great Day for me.

I had a great day, worked out the deal I wanted with the dealer, got my motorcycle permit, and picked up my bike.

I am now a proud owner of a 09 Vulcan 900 Classic.
Love the bike, love the color, and grinnin.

I am lucky that I have a small parking lot and behind it is a very short dirt road with a loop, so got a couple miles of practice in with zero trafic.

Was great to be riding on 2 wheels again, been a long long time. Been riding 4 wheelers for years.

I will be taking the safety class soon, as soon as one is open and I can get to it, hopefully the end of the month, or first of Aug. Till then will be doing as much practicing as I can.

I know its no substitute, but you can learn tons on Youtube, its a great place to learn about anything.

Thanks all for the help in picking out a bike, will get pics soon, although its a little dirty now, would rather have to do lots of washing than jump right out there on the pavement.

Feels good to have a new bike, doesn't it? Take care of it, and put some pics up. Glad to hear you are planning on taking the MSF course. Ride safe.

Denny,

You mentioned youtube. There are some videos on MSF's website.

Enjoy your new ride. Be well and safe!
