Default Clutch Lever adjustment

This maybe newb question but, how do I adjust the lever? I'm not talking cable slack I know how to do that. My lever when I'm bumpy roads rattles up and down, currently my cure has been to rest my fingers on lever to stop it. Any way to tighten the up and down movement of the lever?

I have the same problem and when time permits I want to see if I can pull the pivon point out and add a nylon washer of some kind. Doesn't stop me from riding but with the roads around where I like it can be annoying.
