Default Nolan has a new helmet coming......

The N-43 AIR.....a convertible modular that looks good to me. I doubt it will be very inexpensive, but I like what I see.

especially considering the climate of our riding locations. I'll try and keep an eye out for this helmet. Hopefully, it will pass DOT requirements and the cost will not be prohibitive. I hate to give up my full face coverage, but I've already been looking at helmets for this local heat wave we've experienced this past June.

We are finally getting some relief in the forecast this coming week from our 100*F. forecasted temp for today! We'll see....

The N43 sells in Europe for about 195 Euros (approx 273 USD). I doubt we'll see it for that little. If/when it comes to the USA, I expect they'll price it over 400 USD.

Cool. I just saw this new Scorpion helmet, but that Nolan seems more versatile.

I have the Shark evoline that I really like. It is expensive ($349.95) but well worth the versatility and comfort.

I just purchased an HJC Is-33 which is an open face helmet (looks a lot like the Nolan sans chin bar) and it has an internal dark half shield (has 3 positions) under the full clear shield. Vents cool quite well and the helmet is quite comfortable. Price ranges from $127 + shipping to $144 + shipping (MSRP). I paid MSRP but no shipping. I would recommend it to anyone.

+10 I purchased this same helmet a few weeks ago. Very snug fitting, yet comfortable at the same time. I like the option of the dark half shield even though i don't really need it. It could come in handy if i forget both of my sunglasses. I think it looks pretty cool, especially for the price.
