Default Motorcycle Instructor?

I can not get in a Basic Safety Class until September, my schedule just does not allow me to make it to any of the 4 day schools until then.

It is a free class, but I would gladly pay an instructor to give me the class on a schedule that would fit my needs. I could do it either in 2 days, or the 4 just not the exact days the class is going on.

I wonder if there is any chance of doing this?

I know they are having a Experience Riders Class a couple miles from the house in 10 days, I thought about sliding down there and talking to the instructor, I wonder if he teaches both.

In NH, the state run courses fill quick and often the waiting list is months long. However, there are some private companies that offer the same course at a reasonable rates without the long wait list. Perhaps there are similar companies where you are located.

Here in Michigan I had to go 'up north' to get in a class soon as all here close to me any time soon were full up. I stayed with my cousins for a long weekend and did it all. If you have relatives or friends check their areas and maybe you can get something quicker and crash with them for a couple days.

Not sure what state you are in but the Secretary of State web sites often list approved training opportunities in their respective states. Harley Davidson also has training available in some areas but at higher cost than some of the other training opportunities.

In this area classes are normally set up for Friday night classroom work and Saturday and Sunday on the range.

If you decide the Fall class you mentioned will be your only opportunity don't wait too long to sign up.

I looked into that, they wanted $400 at the local HD dealership.

I think HD also offers gift certificates and a guided tour of their showroom floor as a part of their package.

I took my course through a group of guys who also taught the HD course. They were considerably cheaper on their own time. It might be worth a shot to sit down with the instructor at the ERC.
