Default When can we expect the 2010 Kaws?

Victories are out, HDs are out, and at least one Suzuki. Does anyone have any idea when the 2010 Kaws will come out? I'm curious if they will do anything other than paint considering all the changes in 09. I REALLY, REALLY think they could do themselves a favor by dropping that V2K engine in the Nomad and Voyager, but I doubt they ever will.

It will be interesting to see what MawKaw has come up with. Hope they keep the 900 the same (parts get less expensive, and 3rd party stuff grows ) I sure hope they don't do away with the V2K.

I believe it's late fall before Yammie and Kawa come out with the new goodies.

Man, the little preview just said
"I REALLY, REALLY think they could do themselves a favor by dropping that V2K engine"

I thought we were going to need a good old fashion woopin in here...

But alas I continued reading... What they need to do is Voyagerize the V2K frame.

Maybe they'll make a V2K street/road glide...

V2K Meanstreak, (get rid of the shaft drive) and BTW a ZX15 or a Eliminator style bike with the ZX14 engine (remember the old 900 Eliminator)

I'd like to see a 1200 or 1300 Vulcan with dual front brakes and 6 speed.. Keep the lite feeling of the 900 with a bit more power.. Wouldnt that be fun..

They will be getting the 2010 Voyager going strong first, since the 09 was a limited production. There will not be anything coming to fill the gap between the 900 and 1700. There could possibly be a 1700 Custom late in the year or early next year. The 500 will be gone and possibly replaced with something in the 650 range.

This is only my predictions.

I am sooooo wanting a 1700 Voyager. Maybe here in a year or two when I get this 900 paid off! Maybe they'll have an all black model by then.

thats what i've been wanting. that 908cc eliminator was a blast to ride. most people are surprised when they see one take off and blow other cruisers away.

one way to keep it fast and inexpensive is the z1000 motor/trans in the vn900 custom. would cost about 8 grand msrp and be fast as hell

Agree 100%, it's on the top of my list, but I plan to test-ride on this year at the Houston moto show before I buy.

However I am a bit perplexed by my local dealer where I bought my 900LT, here we are in August 2009, and all they have new on the floor is a 1700 classic. No voyager and no LT. Do they have them in the back? I have no idea. But why wouldn't they put one on the floor to kick up interest?

I remember the Eliminators well....they were sweet bikes. Once in awhile they'll have one on eBay.....I'd love to see it come back.

I finally saw an '09 Voyager last Friday, the blue and black one. The guy just had 25 miles on it. It is one beautiful bike!! Don't know how long it was at the dealers but I don't think it was there very long. They were supposed to let me know when they got one in but they must have forgot to call! Not that I am ready to buy one I just really wanted to see one in person to help with my future decision on a tourer.

I rode up to Warner Robins a few weeks ago to see if they had one. Nope. And my dealer here in Albany said he would not be getting any. Special order only. I told him I was not buying until I can see it and sit on it. I did see one in Camilla last week parked at the Huddle House. It was bought in Thomasville, but was not in the showroom, the owner had to order it. I don't think any dealers in Georgia have them.
